Yukon's
Premier Wilderness Retreat
In the Foothills of the Rocky Mountains
One of Yukon’s premier wilderness retreats is situated in the beautiful southeastern region. Here in the foothills of the northern Rocky Mountains access is by air or water only. The nearby site of the Yukon’s first Hudson Bay Company trading post gives the area a touch of history. With only a small number of guests at any time the atmosphere is friendly and service is personal. All meals are included in the package.
Accommodation is in five comfortable guest cabins each with rustic wood stoves and kerosene lamps. All cabins have lake views and close to the main building. Beds have warm quilts and each cabin has portable flush toilets. The main log cabin houses the kitchen, dining room, library and cozy living room. Guest showers and a four-person sauna are located in separate log building.
Activities include daily guided excursions; canoeing, hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, fishing and aurora viewing in September. Guest have use of fishing boat, including fuel.
