Our stop and stay is an alternative to days of driving and allows you to spend more time hiking, fishing, climbing and exploring in the Yukon backcountry. Your hosts are friendly people who love the great outdoors, preferring to live in a wilderness paradise than a city environment.  Access to the Yukon’s remarkable natural backcountry makes it the best choice for this self drive with a difference. Keep in mind accommodation is rustic; indoor plumbing is only hand-pump for water, with an outside central sauna/shower with outhouse toilet. The private log cabin are fully equipped for cooking with propane appliances and eating utensils - you provide the food.

Your host is a professional guide, happy to show you the best trails and fishing spots will take you on a 4-hour hike to explore the flora, fauna and landscape of Kluane - a World Heritage Site. Private cabins are well equipped with basic amenities. Sauna is freely available to guests. This is log cabin living at its best and by car you can easily visit charming Haines, Alaska or Haines Junction.
